Jack R. Leatherberry Obituary

Jack R. Leatherberry, age 85 of Carthage died Friday, June 21, 2019 at The Greens at Pinehurst Rehabilitation & Living Center in Pinehurst.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Wednesday at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage conducted by Archie Stevens. The committal service with military graveside rites will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Salisbury National Cemetery.

A native of Waynesburg, Ohio, he was US Navy Veteran and worked for General Tire and Rubber Company in Hawaii retiring to Arizona. In 2009 he moved to
Moore County to be closer to his daughter. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Dorothy (Baker) Parker and Ray Parker.

He is survived by his daughter Stephanie Hudson and husband Kevin of Laurinburg; sons Stephan Leatherberry of E. Canton, OH, Alika Leatherberrry of Tucson, AZ; brother Ken Parker of Pensacola, FL and Don Parker of Carrollton, OH; grandchildren Amanda Balsamo, Andrew Deist, Chad Leatherberry, Alika Leatherberry, Jr., Blake Leatherberry; great-grandchildren Alayah Snyder and Brendan Balsamo. Services entrusted to Fry & Prickett Funeral Home.
